The difference between perlite and vermiculite
While the materials may seem similar, there are a few important differences. Vermiculite holds more water than perlite while still offering an improved soil texture. Vermiculite grains are also a bit softer than perlite, and don’t turn into powder as easily.

Origin of our Vermiculite


Vi bryter vår Vermikulit i Sydafrika, varefter den transporteras i sin opoppade form.

Vermikulit expanderar vid uppvärmning, vilket sker när den anländer till Nederländerna. Den opoppade vermikuliten värms upp med gas till sin slutliga luftiga och lätta form.

Även om användningen av gas inte är idealisk, varar vermikulit mycket länge om inte högt tryck appliceras.
På grund av dess hållbarhet tror vi att användningen av vermikulit är ett medvetet val.

Ich habe mich getraut meinen nur schwach bewurzelten Ableger der Monstera Adansonii direkt in Substrat zu setzen und es hat super funktioniert! Ich habe meinen bisherigen selbstgemischten Substratmix mit Sybotanica Vermiculit, Perlit und Orchid Bark aufgepeppt und hab jetzt eine tolle lockere Struktur mit super gleichmäßiger Wasserabgabe. Zwei Wochen nach einpflanzen sind bereits diese gesunden Wurzeln zu sehen und kein Blatt wurde gelb!
